Panda Pooh Tea please! – One lump or two?

Apparently, the most expensive tea in the world is cultivated with Panda Pooh…

It apparently has  Cancer Fighting properties. This is partly due to the fact that the Panda, like all bears, has a carnivore’s digestive system but eats like a herbivore – in other words it should be a meat eater but only eats veg!

Therefore, a Panda only takes about 30% of the nutrients that are available from his diet which in basic terms means that his pooh is barely digested.

Now, some of you may be aware that the most expensive coffee in the world is that which passes through a Civet cat (although it is not a cat and is more closely related to the Mongoose!). Anyway, the beans from this are the most expensive and highly prized in the world…

Maybe the Chinese wanted their own version of this although the pooh is only used for fertilising the tea and the tea itself does not pass through the Pandas digestive system. Although, that is an idea and the Pandas could benefit and become more civilised…

This tea costs the equivalent of $200 a cup…

The phrase ‘More tea vicar’ would never be used in this context…
