Why I hate photographers – and many others…

Ok, so one of the things I’ve been doing a lot more of in the last couple of years is filming public events and music gigs. For the most part I’ve enjoyed it but  I really hate the people that get in your way!

This was at the Alice Cooper gig…

As was this…

Now, I realise that people can’t help being tall or bald – but both???

Then there is the dancing where you can’t see anything unless you stand up and even join in. It seems a crime when you have paid good money to get a better seat and then others just completely block your view!

But what really frustrates me is how photographers block your view of public events like the Umbrella Parade yesterday (it was even worse at the Bexhill Roaring 20’s)…

What you can’t see is Dr Savage who led the event due to a scrimmage of photographers. They have no concern for others as they fight to the front and block any useful shots from other people!

Here’s another one casually blocking my view of the elephant…

I had to stop myself attacking them. Earlier, I had to move one who was just chatting and standing in the way.

I try to stay on the side lines and take some perfectly reasonable photos from that position as could they. It wasn’t just yesterday though – this happens at every public event. You could talk to the organisers but their people are usually blocking things when the photographers aren’t!

Note the bloke in pink blocking Dr Savage!

It’s not hard to stay on the sidelines and take some interesting pics.

Anyway, next time – if there is one – I shall probably push them out of my way!

Oh, and just in case you haven’t seen it here’s the video I took – and now you know why the footage of Dr Savage is jumpy…
